Powers and abilities
- Weapon Mastery
- Martial Arts (Is extremely versed in the art of human war, likely taught himself how to fight like the old soldiers)
- Self-Sustenance (Types 1, 2 and 3)
- Incorporeality (His true form is that of an energy being with no form and corporeality. Doctor McCoy commented that his true nature is as if he did not exist)
- Immortality (Type 1 and 5. Doctor McCoy stated he existed outside of human definitions of life and death, being neither dead or alive, as if he didn't exist)
- Regeneration (Low-Godly. Can easily reform his own human form out of his energy form)
- Technology Manipulation (Can manipulate the entire Enterprise with ease. Can use his Instrumentalities with mere thoughts)
- Clairvoyance
- Information Analysis (Could observe Earth from 900 light years away. Learned Earth's languages and instantly discerned the identity of the Enterprise's crew)
- Stealth Mastery (Hid Gothos from the Enterprise's scanners)
- Space-Time Manipulation
- Reality Warping
- Physics Manipulation (Can manipulate Subspace to induce Subspace interference, stopping long distance communications at FTL speeds. Could pull on the Enterprise even while they were accelerating at Warp speeds, which requires the ship to ride on space-time waves caused by subspace bubbles. Spock described Gothos's sudden appearance on the Enterprise's radar as a "spatial displacement". The process of his matter control utilizes control of Subspace)
- Radiation Manipulation (Can control waves to stop radio communications. Interfeared with radio waves on Subspace)
- Energy Manipulation
- Transmutation
- Matter Manipulation (Macro-Quantum. His main power is to turn matter into energy and vice-versa, either displacing it, reshaping it or destroying it. The process is said to be similar to the Enterprise's transporter, turning matter into super charged elementary particles, although both Trelane and Spock state it to be far superior. Trelane can create entire planets with this power)
- Paralysis Inducement (Can paralyse others with a wave of his hand)
- Telekinesis (Works on entire planets, could pull the Enterprise even while it was on Warp drive)
- Body Puppetry (Controlled Uhura's movements with a thought)
- Mind Manipulation (Can add skills into someone's mind)
- BFR (Can turn others into energy and banish them at the speed of light)
- Weather Manipulation
- Earth Manipulation (Altered the atmosphere and terrain in Gothos to make it suitable for life)
- Poison Manipulation (Created Gothos and its toxic air)
- Cloth Manipulation (Easily altered the clothes of those around him)
- Metal Manipulation (Created cages of metal to trap Captain Kirk in)
- Fire Manipulation (Can create fire that emits no heat)
- Teleportation (Can turn to energy to teleport at the speed of light)
- Body Control (Can control the matter within his own body freely)
Weaknesses
Is childish, arrogant and egocentric. Can be convinced to go easy on his enemies by hurting his ego. His Instrumentalities can be destroyed to disrupt his powers, although those are later protected by him. The recreations of Earth's things lack substance, his food being tasteless and his fire without heat. His power to observe things are limited to the light that reaches where he is, meaning the things he sees are outdated by centuries.
Ranked #10 of 32 in Star Trek by strength.
