- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Large Size (Type 0, Many specimens are classified as "Large", potentially making them many times the size of a human)
- Enhanced Senses (Maintains pristine senses within a short radius around themselves, though they are blind beyond this)

- Camouflage (They have evolved to appear like Beholders)
- Memory Manipulation (Gas Spores can absorb the memories of those they form from, more specifically doing this with Beholders; when they perform their Death Burst, those memories are released onto any breathing in their miasma)
- Self-Destruction (Upon "dying", the Gas Spore explodes into a miasma of biological matter aimed at infecting those that killed it so that it may rise again)
- Sound Manipulation (Its explosion deals impressive sonic damage, easily enough to kill most humans)
- Poison Manipulation (Its gas spores are highly poisonous and attack the immune systems of those it touches)
- Disease Manipulation (Breathing in its gas can cause one to become infested by the spore)
- Biological Manipulation (Its gas spores are capable of rapidly breaking down biological matter)
- Duplication (After successfully infecting a creature and killing said creature via its disease, it duplicates into several smaller gas spores)

Weaknesses
Spells and items that counteract poison and diseases will generally neutralize their spores, nullifying their ability to return to life. Dry surfaces also nullify their abilities
