Powers and abilities

  • Superhuman Physical Characteristics
  • Expert Acrobat and parkourer (Possesses tremendous physical strength thanks to his Isu heritage, and being a direct reincarnation of Loki, he could also perform superhuman acrobatic maneuvers with ease)
  • Enhanced Senses, Extrasensory Perception, Clairvoyance, Information Analysis, Information Transfer, Psychometry, Retrocognition and Precognition (Has his own version of Eagle Vision called Odin's Sight, which allows him to possess basically all the core traits of Eagle Vision, like revisiting and perfectly recreating past events, seeing through walls, sensing a person's true intentions and revisiting their past memories by mere skin contact, easily differentiating from friend to foe, highlighting enemies to keep track of them, pinpointing objects of interest in pitch-black conditions with ease without relying on her other senses, analyzing locations of interest and even sensing potential areas of investigation. Can easily foresee and be warned of future attacks in combat in the form of red Norse symbols via Odin's Sight. Possesses all of Eivor's sensory abilities due to being an Isu Sage just like her, and enhanced them even further by exploiting the Bleeding Effect of the Animus, and was cursed with Loki's memories which also served as premonitions for the future events he would face in his life, much like Eivor's visions of Odin Sages and Isu Reincarnations in general possess far higher concentrations of Isu DNA than even the most able-bodied non-Sage hybrids, the percentages being 5-6% Isu DNA for Sages and Isu Reincarnations compared to almost 1% for the most-abled non-Sage hybrids.)
  • Immortality (Type 4, Isu that have uploaded their genes into the human gene pool with the assistance of the Yggdrasil Supercomputer or somesuch, are cursed to be indefinitely reborn in human bodies, as was the case with Loki)
  • Regeneration (Mid-Low, can heal from severe stab wounds without medical aid, though they leave behind scars. Scales to Eivor)
  • Accelerated Development and Extraordinary Genius Intelligence (Isu Sages in general have been known to possess incredibly-high levels of intellect at very young ages, being able to easily pick up concepts alien to their upbringing and cultural background, some even managing to fully access their Isu memories and in turn, all of their advanced scientific knowledge. Successfully transferred his lover Aletheia's consciousness into the Staff of Hermes after much research, and possessed first-hand experience of operating laptops and even the Animus without even reading their manuals, and also helped assist Desmond Miles's consciousness in accurately calculating billions of possible futures in the Yggdrasil chamber)
  • Stealth Mastery
  • Master Fighter
  • Pressure Point Strikes (Able to use similar takedown techniques as Bayek and Eivor
  • Master planner, Master tactician, strategist and survivalist
  • Technology Manipulation (As a Norse Sage, Basim is capable of interacting with and using First Civilization technology without suffering from any detrimental effects, as seen when he released Sigurd Styrbjorn, himself an Isu Sage of Tyr, from the Yggdrasil Isu Supercomputer in Norway in order to hold Sigurd hostage. Even outright states that the Animus is one of the many technologies that the Isu had mastered long before in the form of digital calculated simulations)
  • Extreme Pain Tolerance
  • Pieces of Eden, including the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus (Should naturally possess these resistances against all the Pieces of Eden due to being a Isu Sage of Loki, with Sages possessing higher amounts of Isu DNA than even Hybrids: 5-6% Isu DNA for Sages and Isu Reincarnations compared to almost 1% for most-abled hybrids, and thus possessing greater resistance to the Pieces of Eden's powers. Hybrids and Eagle Vision users in general lack the neurotransmitters required for the Pieces to function against them.. Has no problems wielding incredibly-powerful Pieces of Eden like his lover Aletheia's Staff of Hermes, which also carries incredibly-powerful corrupting abilities)
  • Poison Manipulation (Shares many of the same feats of poison resistances as Eivor, like his high tolerance for alcohol and a high tolerance for Eivor's special toxic arrowheads. Able to withstand his own poison bombs)
  • Extreme Heat (Can withstand being burned for extended periods of time, should scale to Eivor)
  • Extreme Cold (Could easily swim in freezing Norwegian waters without running the risk of hypothermia)
  • Smoke Inducement (With smoke bombs)
  • Poison Inducement, Rage Inducement and Sleep Inducement (With blow dart. Can either drive his foes into a berserk rage, put them into a deep sleep or just outright kill them with his poison darts. Can also use special trip-wire bombs as well as Choking Fume smoke bombs and poison-tipped throwing knives for this purpose)
  • Corrosion Inducement (Can dissolve bodies to nothing with Corrode Body throwing knives)
  • Healing (With Healing Vapor Smoke-bomb)
  • Limited Memory Manipulation (With Mindwipe Smoke Bomb, can make enemies forget that they saw him)
  • Staff of Hermes Trismegistus

Weaknesses

Before reclaiming his memories, he was plagued by nightmares of the Djinn, but overcame it after his consciousness merges with Nehal, a psychological manifestation of his memories of his past life as Loki. After this, he grieves considerably for Loki's son Fenrir (Due to him being a direct reincarnation of Loki and thus sharing his memories and cursed history as well), and was eventually driven mad because of it, holding considerable hatred against Odin due to the latter having imprisoned Fenrir, the hate eventually materialized towards Odin's reincarnations as well, especially Eivor, even though she had nothing to do with Fenrir in the first place.

Ranked tied for #7 of 98 in Assassin's Creed by strength.
