• Superhuman Physical Characteristics
• Weapon Mastery (Is an expert swordsman, with a great ability with his katana and chuusen. His skill is comparable to Peko's)
• Air Manipulation (Can generate wind slashes with his attacks)
• Social Influencing (As the Ultimate Student Council President, Kyosuke is a natural leader with exceptional leadership skills. He was able to quickly expand his faction in Despair Arc. He was the vice-leader of the Future Foundation)

Weaknesses

Kyosuke is dangerously stubborn and stone-headed, to the point where this mindset of his had caused major problems for him and those that are around him, like when he killed Juzo just because he thought that the latter fell in despair. After surviving the Final Killing Game, he began to suffer from survivor's guilt and carries the burden of his dead friends.
