Powers and abilities

• Superhuman Physical Characteristics
• Expert in hand-to-hand combat
• Acrobatics
• Longevity
• Flight
• Enhanced Senses (As a Makai native, he is able to see clearly in the dark)
• Extrasensory Perception (Able to sense strong souls and energy sources)
• Shapeshifting (Can turn into a single or a whole swarm of bats and morph his cape into wings)
• Transformation (Can switch between his human and true form)
• Natural Weaponry (Fangs and Wings)
• Non-Physical Interaction (Interacted with and defeated in combat Pyron, who doesn't have a physical form, and with Bishamon in Vampire Savior, whose body is made of souls)
• Fire Manipulation (Can project fire or cover himself in it while performing some attacks)
• Teleportation
• Dimensional Travel (Able to cross from Makai to the Human Realm and vice versa)
• Creation (Can create roses and bats)
• Telekinesis (Can keep his castle suspended in the sky)
• Forcefield Creation (Can make fields to surround himself or even large areas as a protection from sunlight)
• Blood and Soul Manipulation and Absorption (Can suck blood from his victims with a bite or even extract it from their body with a simple grab. Can collect and consume the souls of defeated opponents to gain more power)
• Corruption (Type 1 and 2; People who have their blood sucked by Demitri have their body and soul consumed by evil, are turned into undeads and forced to serve him. Every Darkstalker gives off an aura that corrupts the heart of the opponents and drives them Insane)
• Transmutation (Via Midnight Bliss)
• Can make his castle appear only during the nights of full moon
• Resistance to Empathic Manipulation (Can easily resist the effects of Morrigan's body odor)
• Soul Manipulation (Possesses an exceptionally strong soul, due to it being directly connected to his power. Souls such as his own, if splitted in multiple parts, are able to draw each piece to the other and return one)
• Corruption and Madness Manipulation (Totally unaffected by the aura of other Darkstalkers)
• typical anti-vampire weapons have no effect on him (Crosses, stakes, garlic, holy water, silver bullets etc.)

Weaknesses

Too much sunlight will cause him harm, craves the blood of innocent girls, extremely overconfident, his strength is dependent on how much blood he has taken. A strong mind/spirit can resist the madness-inducing effect of his aura and a dark heart can resist the corruption.

Ranked tied for #3 of 20 in Darkstalkers by strength.
