Powers and abilities

  • Genius Intelligence in Magic
  • Immortality (Types 1 and 3, possibly Type 4 - Said to have drunk the red elixir of life which grants an unending life, his corpse remained unchanged for 120 years, sought to resurrect himself by inserting a phase of hell within the afterlife, Type 5 while in his phase in the afterlife - Converts a soul's affiliation into a near-death state that is neither wholly alive nor wholly dead)
  • Unconventional Regeneration (Low-Mid; Can remake an arm out of carbon, claims to be able to recover from having his flesh torn away and bones broken if Alice had not stripped him of his identity)
  • Electricity Manipulation, Weather Manipulation, Intangibility, and Probability Manipulation (Can divert lightning with clouds and create clouds that make him as difficult to attack as trying to attack the unobservable Schrodinger's cat)
  • Limited Necromancy (Reanimated Alice which lasted until rigor mortis fades away and decomposition begins)
  • Automatic Translation (Can automatically translate his speech into languages others can understand)
  • Enhanced Senses (Could sense Touma who had turned invisible)
  • Light Manipulation
  • Clairvoyance (Can understand every phenomenon of the world by replicating the past, present, and future in his miniature garden, can read residual thoughts in the air to gain information on other people, should be able to replicate Anna Kingsford's feat of viewing the living world through the use of the Qliphoth)
  • Creation (Can conjure a crystal world map, a flask containing an undying flame, a gold cross adorned with roses, Pneuma-less Shells, and a deck of Tarot cards)
  • Energy Projection
  • Phase Manipulation (Created a phase of Hell with the goal of resurrecting himself)
  • Sealing via Water Manipulation (The rivers of Phlegethon traps fallen souls for eternity)
  • Corruption & Soul Destruction via the Demon King (Knowing its nature is enough to corrode one's very being, can shatter souls just by being seen)
  • Fusionism (Attempted to fuse with the Lord of Demons)
  • Fire Manipulation (Can produce an inextinguishable flame that can be released in the form of a serpent, fiery snow in the phase of Hell burn away the bodies of sinners who violated the providence of god or the laws of nature)
  • Healing & Purification (Type 1; Remedied an unknown toxin; purified Aleister's corruption and would cover their surroundings with verdant life if his battle with Aleister had not occurred in the phase-shifted world, a Rosicrucian spiritual item could purify and eradicate artificial microbes Type 2; The express intent of the Transcendents was for "CRC" to fulfill his role of healing the world which includes curing diseases and removing curses (though the extent of how true this is is unknown as he was revealed to not actually be the allegorical CRC), the red elixir is said to be able to conquer all diseases)
  • Body Puppetry via Carbon Manipulation (Forced an officer to count on his fingers by manipulating the carbon in their body)
  • Metal Manipulation (Created a doll from a collection of metallic objects by invoking the red elixir)
  • Supernatural Willpower (Sought out to return from the dead for 400 years in a place that removes one's instincts, regrets, and links to the world of the living and requires willpower equivalent to keeping yourself under a body of water until your breathing stops and death arrives, his clashing willpower distorted space)
  • Transmutation via Sand Manipulation (Anyone that touches the sand of Citrinitas is decomposed and turned into nutrients which are absorbed by the sand)
  • Empowerment (Draws benefits from the land's support and possibly draws power from the miraculous symbols and elements such as the Rod of Asclepius, the cross, and the Hippocratic Oath)
  • Unconventional Magic Nullification (Encrypted his secret magic so it could not be used against him)
  • Possibly
  • Limited Telekinesis (Approaching attacks are redirected into an unrelated space)
  • Resurrection (Unknown whether he would be able to climb his spiral staircase to return to the world of the living as it halves your strength after every step)
  • Mind Manipulation (Unaffected by Mental Out)
  • Death Manipulation (Unaffected by the death imposed by Mary's Tribikos)
  • Potentially Pain Manipulation (Would adapt to Succubus' Cold Mistress spell which swaps pleasure with pain)
  • Fear Manipulation (Maintained his composure when faced by the Dragon King's fear paralysis)
  • Radiation Manipulation, Poison Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation, Vibration Manipulation, Explosion Manipulation, Thread Manipulation, BFR, Water Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, etc. via Pnuemaless Shells (Some of the forms of death that can be replicated include but are not limited to being launched into orbit, radiation sickness, electrocution, poisoning, deadly vibration, drowning, and explosive death)
  • Transmutation (Can turn objects into original grimoires that draw energy from ley lines to autonomously defend themselves, with the essence of the world's oldest writing tool)
  • Absorption (Pneuma-less shells absorb "mystical power")
  • Likely:
  • Spatial Manipulation and Air Manipulation (Can likely access Anna Sprengel's cross capable of burning away space and producing a burst of wind that bisected Alice's Executioner, as it is a biproduct of a randomized Pneuma-less Shell he utilizes at a higher level)

Weaknesses

Possesses normal human weaknesses if he doesn't respond to threats with a spell. Can possibly be unsummoned by the Transcendents' group ceremony and can likely be killed by Alice's Shrink Drink due to being a fake playing a role. His miniature model of the world can't decipher phenomena of realms that are 'outside of the world' or considered as fiction, such as hell that was warped by people's perception of it.

Ranked #9 of 196 in Toaru Majutsu no Index by strength.
