Powers and abilities
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Magic
- Reality Warping (All magic is the result of manipulating the Weave, a multiversal construct personified by the Goddess Mystra, which in turn refines the raw power of the entity known as The Serpent)
- Non-Physical Interaction (Capable of interacting with creatures in different planes of existence, as well as abstract, intangible, incorporeal, and nonexistent entities)
- Immortality (Types 1, 4, and 8, she has canonically died but returned sometime later through unknown means; Simulacrums exist of the true Iggwilv, which are capable of becoming a perfect duplicate of the real Iggwilv, including all of her power; the True Iggwilv has Contingent Resurrection cast on herself, meaning she will return to life in a safe location upon dying)
- Dimensional Travel (She made the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth a nexus for countless planes and demiplanes and can use the Plane Shift spell via the Staff of the Magi)
- Life Manipulation (She can create various golems and homunculi to serve her)
- Sleep Manipulation (She can place creatures in permanent sleep enchantments and has scribed a spell to do it again in the future)
- BFR
- Teleportation (She has, in the past, created elaborate, alt-universe traps to dispose of enemies; She can use the Banishment spell, which forces creatures to return to their home plane of existence; later refinement of the spell would even temporarily expel creatures of the same plane of existence; She can teleport plane-spanning distances at will; During her time as an Archfey, Iggwilv created a magical contingency that sent children away into personal demiplanes, unable to be reached or contacted by any means; She regularly uses short-range teleportation as her preferred means of movement and entering buildings)
- Time Manipulation (Some of her demiplanes have altered time, dragging on in the perception of mortals but factually going far quicker than their normal reality, Iggwilv's Timeless Sleep places a target in a permanent temporal stasis until set conditions are met or until a Wish-equivalent ability is used, that being Causality Manipulation)
- Power Bestowal (She gave some of her creations special abilities, such as light control of time or illusions or the ability to transform into a demon)
- Mind Manipulation (She can incite desire and greed beyond reason, causing enemies to overlook potentially obvious traps; She can completely take over the minds of enemies with Dominate Person; she can pervert the minds of enemies with her magics, and once managed to transform a slain Pit Fiend into a trusted servant; If a Cacodemon can be placed into a target, she can more or less perfectly control them, as she currently does for the great Demon Lord Kostchtchie)
- Sense Manipulation (She has blocked magical sight so powerful that even manipulation of causality cannot undo her ward; She can render a target blind and deaf with a simple spell)
- Preparation (She is adept at preparation, and centuries in advance has created deadly traps such as the one in her daughter's room in the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth, Even as a child she would prepare secret doors with powerful summoned sentries)
- Sealing (Outside of her other spells, capable of trapping extraplanar entities in gems or magic circles for eternity, Iggwilv can seal portals from being used with Arcane Lock; She knows magic to use a living being to absorb and seal planar rifts and portals; Iggwilv is capable of sealing non-demons)
- Summoning (Abjure/Implore is a spell made by Iggwilv that banishes creatures from a plane of existence, or calls forth a creature from the Outer Planes; She can call forth an Aspect of Graz'zt with casual ease via Lover's Call; So great is Iggwilv's ability that she can summon entire legions away with a single spell, sending them to other planes of existence should she wish it)
- Curse Manipulation (Exaction forces a creature to be called to the user, and perform a great task for them, She often curses her treasures to deter thieves; She can weave even more creative curses, such as the curse that an article of clothing may never be removed)
- Deconstruction (She can disrupt the bodies of creatures with Negative Energy Souls, destroying them completely and, when a creature dies, rapidly disintegrate their body to deter regeneration)
- Pain Manipulation (She can force creatures to follow her orders, lest they suffer incredible pain, unbearable even to beings typically immune to pain, The Torment spell tortures a creature over a lengthy period of time, so long as Iggwilv names the type of the creature on a scroll first)
- Portal Creation (Ensnarement creates a trap including a portal to another plane of existence that includes a magic circle that binds creatures from a different plane of existence than Iggwilv; She can, in a short period of time, erect countless Gates to other planes of existence to summon entire armies of fiends; She can also widen and otherwise modify portals to accept larger amounts of migrants; As an Archfey, Iggwilv can create mushroom circles that serve as portals to other Feywild realms or the Prime Material Plane, as well as set specific conditions for the portals)
- Size Manipulation (Minimum Containment is a form of Binding that reduces the target's size down to one inch, regardless of their previous size, and seals them away inside a gem- while affected by Minimus Containment, creatures can be compelled to perform one task, and then be sent back to their plane of existence; She has access to growth magic that would cause oneself to octuple in total size)
- Perception Manipulation (Tasha's Uncontrollable Hideous Laughter causes a target to perceive quite literally everything as devastatingly funny, to the point of being unable to laugh as they are reduced to hysterical laughter)
- Clairvoyance (She can cast Locate Object, which automatically tracks objects with perfect accuracy)
- Psychometry (Legend Lore allows a caster to learn past details about a named or held legendary item- the more storied the item's lineage, the better; She created a magic item that allows the user to see their greatest desire)
- Automatic Translation (Iggwilv knows the spell Comprehend Languages and Tongues, which allows her to understand and speak all languages respectively)
- Sound Manipulation (Iggwilv can carry her voice over long distances with the spells Message and Ventriloquism)
- Statistics Amplification (Her protective magic items increase her durability somewhat, and specifically project her against projectiles of raw energy/magic, totally negating them; the Demonomicon of Iggwilv increases its user's power considerably, treating evil-aligned magic as if it had been cast by a substantially higher-level caster; Haste doubles the user's speed; she can cast Time Stop, which at this time truthfully gave the user infinite speed rather than truly stopping time)
- Illusion Creation (She mastered the art of illusion magic from a young age, making carefully scant use of it to avoid it being expected- later in life she mastered a number of other illusory spells, such as Projected Image or Displacement)
- Power Modification (The Permanency spell allows her to make her magical effects permanent)
- Fire Manipulation
- Acid Manipulation
- Electricity Manipulation (She can create an electrified Forcecage, which can lethally shock those attempting to escape)
- Poison Manipulation
- Petrification (She can transform flesh to stone with the spell of the same name and can create an effect that causes corpses to turn to stone upon dying)
- Madness Manipulation (Type 2, Iggwilv can generate a Prismatic Wall, a rainbow-colored shimmering forcefield that negates all attacks and attempts to pass through until enemies affect it with a certain combination of spells; until they do, attempts to pass through it or attack through it result in the aforementioned effects being placed on the attacker, including instantly lethal poison, petrification, and BFR to a random plane of existence)
- Spatial Manipulation (Using a magical trap, she removed sections of Zagyg's demiplane to a "neutral zone"; A far weaker version of her looped a tower infinitely to trap adventurers)
- Regeneration Nullification (When Iggwilv consumes someone, a Wish is required to bring them back- less powerful spells such as True Resurrection are capable of returning the mind, body, and soul after it has been destroyed, implying Iggwilv's consumption is yet more powerful and requires the causality-warping powers of Wish to resurrect the affected)
- Existence Erasure (Iggwilv's consumption totally destroys whatever she eats)
- Necromancy (Many scholars theorize that Iggwilv was a powerful necromancer in addition to a conjurer, though the specifics of these claims are unknown)
Weaknesses
Though she may call upon the strength of her artifacts to empower her in times of need, massively bolstering her strength, doing so wears rapidly through her stamina, and leaves her extremely weak and vulnerable- furthermore, it may completely destroy her artifacts altogether, something which can be undone but requires time
Ranked #35 of 704 in Dungeons & Dragons by strength.
