Powers and abilities

• Superhuman Physical Characteristics
• Longevity
• Can transform into an Earth Dragon or a Dark Dragon with a dragonstone (Earthstone for Earth Dragon, also into a Dark Dragon)
• Extrasensory Perception and Non-Physical Interaction (Can see, attack, and kill ghosts)
• Telepathy via Enhanced Senses (According to Nah, Manakete's sense of smell is so developped that they can smell intent for example she was able to smell that Cynthia wanted to be her friend and she claim that Manaketes can smell lies)
• Minor Accelerated Development (Over many battles, as the Manaketes keep taking blows their skin gradually become harder and thicker)
• Likely Mind Manipulation, (Gharnef implied he cannot control him even with the Darksphere)
• Magic (Via the resistance to magic stat directly stated to exist like here)
• Unconventional Resistance to Soul Manipulation (Characters in Fire Emblem can consistently survive without their souls, albeit while being reduced to a husk personality wise)
• Telepathy (Comparable to Nowi another Manakete whom Tharja couldn't read the mind of)
• Breath Attack and Darkness Manipulation (Can shoot a beam of darkness in his Earth Dragon and Shadow Dragon form)
• Flight in his Shadow Dragon form
• Immortality (Type 8)
• Summoning (Can summon dragons)

Weaknesses

Without a dragonstone he can't transform, insane, weak to Falchion (but only if the user is confident and strong enough)

Ranked tied for #13 of 160 in Fire Emblem by strength.
