Powers and abilities
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Martial Arts (While not the most skilled fighter, Glut is capable of delivering devastating unarmed attacks)
- Enhanced Senses (As a Myconid, Glut can see in total darkness)
- Plant Manipulation
- Telepathy
- Fungus Manipulation (Glut can emit spores that allow for telepathic communication)
- Social Influencing (Glut is capable of wresting control of the grotto from Sovereign Spaw when Spaw is killed, urging his people to a frenzy for war with his new song; his flesh can be used to aid in intimidation when worn as an amulet)
- Poison Manipulation (His attacks deal poison damage)
- Necromancy (Glut can raise deceased targets back to life- including far more powerful creatures than himself, although doing so limits their capabilities; for example, a creature would no longer be able to spellcast when raised as a spore servant)
- Ice Manipulation (Glut is the owner of Winter's Clutches, a pair of gloves that offer powerful bonuses to cold-based damage, such that they can totally encrust enemies in ice when struck with even basic cold damage)
- Size Manipulation
- Berserk Mode (When enraged, Glut emits frenzied spores on himself, making him larger and equally far more powerful)
- Statistics Amplification (Both his frenzied and haste spores afford him massive gains in terms of raw stats: his strength increases, his durability practically doubles, and he moves twice as fast)
- Madness Manipulation (Type 2, he can emit Timmask Spores that drive a target to placid confusion, leaving them befuddled and not in control of their own actions)
- Explosion Manipulation (Can create extremely toxic and ultimately explosive Bibberbang Spores)
- likely Empathic Manipulation (Should be capable of invoking their emotions via their communicative spores, similar to other Myconids)
- Duplication (Myconids reproduce by offshooting spores that rapidly grow into seedling myconids)
- Stealth Mastery (It is standard for Myconids to be proficient and even outright adept in stealth)
- Perception Manipulation (Glut can invoke mental imagery via his spores, and does so to show the slaughter of his people to anyone who might listen and assist him)
- Preparation (Myconid spores are known to be used by sovereigns to create potions)
- Animal Manipulation (Myconid sovereigns can communicate with animals and often reign them into service, typically preferring large spiders)
- Mind Manipulation (Although myconids are individuals, the lesser members of the circle can be easily controlled by the sovereign)
Weaknesses
Glut is extremely sensitive to sunlight, such that even remote exposure to it can be debilitating; similarly, fire is extremely effective against Glut; his lust for revenge leaves him often prone to abusable weaknesses
Ranked tied for #116 of 704 in Dungeons & Dragons by strength.
